Accessibility Statement

This Accessibility Statement applies to the website Unichem.si/en

Compliance Status

The Unichem EN website is partially compliant with the Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications Act. The content has been prepared in accordance with the international WCAG 2.1 (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines).

To ensure accessibility requirements, the following adjustments have been implemented:

  • Pages have an appropriate structure using headings (H1–H6) and landmarks.
  • Content can be zoomed up to 200% or 400% without loss of information (CTRL+ to zoom in, CTRL– to zoom out).
  • The website is responsive and adapts to different screen resolutions.
  • Navigation through the website is possible using the keyboard (Tab key) with a clear and predictable order of elements.
  • A visible keyboard focus indicator is present on all pages and can be further highlighted via the accessibility icon.
  • Appropriate color contrast between text and background is ensured.
  • The website operates in a predictable manner.
  • Images can be provided with alternative text descriptions.
  • Text content is clear, structured, and organized using headings, paragraphs, and lists.
  • Links are properly labeled and include descriptions for screen readers.
  • A breadcrumb navigation indicator showing the user’s current location on the website has been implemented.

The reasons for partial rather than full accessibility compliance are listed below; however, they do not significantly affect the user experience.

Non-accessible Content

Despite our efforts, we cannot fully ensure compliance with accessibility standards and applicable legislation due to:

  • Some PDF files and other documents not being fully accessible.
  • Limited control over third-party content (e.g., iframe modules, plugins).
  • Some images and documents without alternative text descriptions.

Due to the technical complexity of certain solutions and frequent updates, some accessibility improvements are implemented gradually. Where implementation is currently technically unfeasible or would represent a disproportionate burden, adjustments will be made during future major upgrades.

We regularly monitor and improve the accessibility of the website. All content editors have been trained to prepare accessible content; however, occasional errors may still occur.

If you encounter inaccessible content or experience difficulties using the website, please inform us.
