Unichem’s story began in April 1989, when chemical technologist Mile Radivojević, during the time of Yugoslavia, founded the first private company in the region specialized in garden and home products — driven by vision, courage, and strong personal conviction.
He believed that a good idea, a clear path, and trust in one’s own knowledge matter more than initial capital. His goal was not merely to establish a company, but to create something lasting — a company that would deliver high-quality solutions over the long term and create value for people and nature alike.
